Peach Blueberry Pie
We crafted a new pie today, using available fresh peaches and just-picked blueberries from the Yakima Market. It was also a chance to use one of our new pie plates and our new pie bird to see if it would help the pie juices to stay in the plate and not on the bottom of my oven!
While the pie was juicy, it stayed in the pie plate, and the combination of sweet and tart fruit was a winner. We'll add it to our seasonal summer pie offerings from the Maltby Pie Company!
