We had a lovely corner table next to the window, and the music was conducive to relaxation and good conversation. The interior of the restaurant is decorated in Americana, and the owners Brad and Lisa made us feel welcome. The small indoor dining area is set up to feel like home, with the kitchen next to the tiny wine bar that seats four. We could actually watch our meal being prepared from scratch--nothing pre-made or pre-cooked here!
We started the culinary experience with the Bruschetta, which was the best I had ever had. It was warm and infused with oils and vinaigrette, with warm crostini. I sipped a nice Yakima Valley Rose wine while we were waiting for our meal.
The Chicken Breast Marsala and the Risotto with Prawns were unbelievable, and Chef Brad was very busy over the course of 45 minutes preparing it all, even the mashed Yukon Gold potatoes. It was certainly a feast worth waiting for.
And as if the appetizers and entrees were not enough, we broke down and ordered one Apple-Rhubarb Crisp to share, topped with Vanilla Bean and Maple Nut ice cream. Savor these pictures!
