Late Summer Flowering Borders in Vancouver, Washington

With the hot, dry Summer this year, and a very mild Fall, the annuals have an extended period of beauty that I am still enjoying, both here and at home.  I admired this lovely display yesterday at the Heathman Lodge.  Evidently this is an area sheltered from the lowest of the night temperatures, allowing the plants and flowers to thrive in the moderate temperature.
