Hostas--2016
This year, the hostas are huge! I'm still very surprised at the weather and its effect on the growth rate and size of everything in the yard, including the trees and shrubs!
Maltby Piano Studio Recital--2016
Saturday, May 7, dawned sunny and beautiful, creating a perfect day for our second annual Maltby Piano Studio Spring Recital!
The Music and Arts auditorium opened at 11 a.m. for students to come early and practice on the baby grand piano and get accustomed to the acoustics in the concert hall. We got started with the program at 12 noon, and finished around 1:30 p.m. There were fifteen students performing, and after the recital, we paused for a group shot and our awards ceremony. What a great group of students!

Crabtree Cottage--2016
We've lived the Slow Life in Maltby for almost 15 years now! I can't imagine living anywhere else. It's especially beautiful this year, and the early warm weather made everything in the yard lush and green. Here are views from the front and back yards.

Kaila's 11th Birthday
April 29 was Kaila's 11th birthday! We've had so much fun over the years watching her grow up. I created this collage/montage of Kai this last year that captures her various personas. And, of course, we love them all!
Happy Birthday, Kai!
